Chiefs,
Welcome to the latest edition of Developer Feedback. I’m Maddie, and I’ll be sharing the recent responses from our development team about the most common questions asked by our Chiefs.
March Interface Optimizations
We’ve been paying attention to the feedback from our Community about the new March interface. Thanks to everyone for your invaluable suggestions and amazing support.
We’ve optimized the button for editing your lineup according to the feedback we received and moved it from the top of the UI to the bottom. This avoids pop-up reminders in the game covering up the button for an unhindered experience.
We’re also aware of the questions our Chiefs have been asking about “Leader” and “Team” lineup options, for which we’d like to once again mention: When you initiate or participate in a Rally, you can use the “Leader” or “Team” buttons to set your lineup for the Rally. Your previous lineup selections are saved and can be used when you initiate or participate in a Rally.
Plan for the Crystal Mine
Ever since it was released, the State season Crystal Mine has caught everybody’s attention. Many Chiefs feel that the high-level Crystal Mines are too difficult, and that they cannot carry out gathering even with more powerful Alliance Members.
The Crystal Mine gameplay was originally designed so that Chiefs with different levels of Power could challenge the Crystal Mines that suited them the most. The most advanced Crystal Mines were designed in such a way that only some of the most powerful Chiefs would actually be able to successfully challenge them.
Currently, our development team doesn’t plan to change the difficulty of Crystal Mines, however, in a future season, we will consider designing an Alliance Crystal Mine gameplay where players can Rally to occupy Alliance Crystal Mines rather than going solo. We hope this Alliance Crystal Mine feature will enable players with different Power from Alliances or even States to better coordinate challenges and interactions and together claim rich Rewards.
*Note: The Alliance Crystal Mine is currently under development and the exact details can be viewed in-game when it is released.
Path of Water Matching Issues
Our development team are currently working on a series of optimizations to improve the matching logic in both the Path of Water and State Warfare. We will continue to monitor the algorithms to improve the data performance.
In the future, we will gradually optimize competitive cross-State gameplay features including the Path of Water. We are also carefully analyzing the recent feedback we received from players in the Community in regards to the Path of Water matching. We appreciate your patience and you can rest assured that we will be performing updates and optimizations to improve this.
Improved PTR Test Server
Recently, we performed an update on the PTR Test Server environment which we are currently balancing. In the future we will be inviting more players to enjoy the new functions available during PTR testing. We hope that these improvements to the PTR test environment will better assist us in fixing the potential issues with the new functions ahead of time.
And that’s a wrap for this episode of Developer Feedback, but I’ll continue to bring you the latest information and developments in the near future. If you feel satisfied with the latest content, be sure to like the post. Don’t forget to tell us what kind of info you’d like to hear us talk more about in our next episode of Developer Feedback.
