Becca's Roadmap | Issue 13: The Scoop on Your Feedback

Chiefs,

It's time for Becca to spill the tea on what's been working in the dev team. Your trusty sidekick, Becca, has devoured all the community feedback from last week.

Thank you for your votes! Let's cut to the chase and dive into the latest issue of Becca's Roadmap.

Hot questions and answers of this issue:

No.1:

Survival Royale. On behalf of the entire team, Becca wants to apologize to all of you! Thanks for the heads up. We will secretly add more post-match Rewards to the 40-player map in the next Survival Royale.

Talking about in-game items, we've sprinkled in more buildings in the 40-player map. More buildings mean more loot - problem solved! Let the games begin!

Becca's inside scoop: This map's still in the testing process and not quite ready to wow players worldwide. We'll be jazzing up the Survival Royale based on test results and the feedback from the community.

No.2:

Battle Report Replay. Here's something new.

We're jazzing up battle reports to be as clear as day, like math charts. You'll glance and grasp each team's move in a blink.

This feature's still being tested in the Lab, not quite ready for the grand stage.

We're looking forward to getting feedback from the community on those battle charts.

As for giving the replay a makeover, no plans on that front, apologies!

No.3: Effortless Progress.

We decided to start it after listening to your ideas in early January.

If you would like to see this event come back, just shout out to us in the community!

No.4: Statues and decorations placement and pick-up? We currently have no plans to make a "quick placement and pick-up" feature.

But we're thinking of expanding your place, giving your cities some more room.

No.5: Store updates and VIP levels - you are absolutely right!

After three years, it's high time VIP levels and the Store got a glow-up.

We heard you, and we're working on it right now. But it takes some time.

Please stay tuned for the official news!

Last but not least, Becca's laying it on the line: I'm really listening to the community!

Trust the Becca vibes. I'm always on your side!

Becca, your game designer always up for every feedback, signing off.

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 10: State of Mines

Hey there, Chiefs! Winter’s here, which usually means it’s cold and snowy, so I’d like to give you the warmest greeting possible. Welcome to Issue 10 of Becca’s Roadmap. Let’s dive straight into the changes and improvements we’ve made to the game!

First of all, I’d like to bring you some good news about the Crystal Mines in the State Event.

In the updated version, we performed an overhaul of Crystal Mine Rewards. Now, when you gather, you have a chance to get rare Tempest Arms materials based on the duration and level of the mine. This includes Tempest Essence Fragments, Tempest Arm molds, Nanomaterials, etc. You can view the details on the Mine description page.

We heard you that taking on Mine Guardians has been a tough challenge. For this update, we greatly lowered the damage that Mine Guardians deal to attacking squads. This should free up more hospital beds and lighten your load. We promise to keep listening and make changes based on your feedback.

Next, let’s move on to the issue about using Legendary Hero Fragments.

We received many requests from you to convert Legendary Hero Fragments into Capsules, but unfortunately, we don’t currently have a plan to develop this feature.

However, we understand the urgency behind yours requests and are actively seeking a solution to this. Believe us, we’re always trying to perfect the game and not overlook any details.

What we finally came up with is a mixed bag of good news and bad news.

The bad new is about Mining Mayhem, for which we’re most grateful for the constant feedback you’ve been giving us. We keep trying to improve it, but the game is just not where we want it to be.

So to stop this from affecting your gaming experience, we’ve decided to remove Mining Mayhem for the time being. But rest assured, we will revamp and polish it as much as we can in a testing environment.

There’s no return date yet, but worry not, we’ll strive to overhaul and revamp this classic feature.

The Mining Mayhem event starting on December 25 will be the last one for a while. We hope you can enjoy this last hurrah, and we look forward to presenting you with a better, more exciting version in the future.

Thank you all for your company and support. We’ll keep working to improve State of Survival and fill every corner of this apocalyptic world with challenges and surprises.

See you next time. We wish all of you a Merry Christmas and may your hearts stay warm in the winter!

Sincerely, Becca

Developer Feedback Episode 17: State Transfer & State Merger, King of the Hill: Tier Matches, and Battle Reports Q&A

Chiefs,

As our new round of State Transfer events takes place, we’ve been looking closely at all of the questions and feedback we’ve received from you on the State Transfer & State Merger. It’s Maddie here again with you for our latest episode of Developer Feedback, and this time we’ll be checking out the responses from our development team to the questions you’ve been paying the most attention to.

Q: Will future State Transfers allow Chiefs to move to States with different Hero generations?

:pushpin: Dev Response: For the current round of the State Transfer, we disabled transfers for Chiefs into State where the Heroes have different generations, with consideration given to the State Merger being held at the same time and also the significant amount of data involved for the participating States. But in future events, we will restore the cross-generation transfer rules (where Chiefs in some States can transfer to States with a higher Hero generation setting). Thanks to everyone for your support and wonderful ideas!

Q: How many incoming transfers are allowed per State in the State Transfer?

:pushpin: Dev Response: Currently, for States where the Hero generation setting is Gen 6 or below, 50 Chiefs can transfer in and for a Hero generation setting of Gen 7 or above, States can accommodate 100 incoming transfers. It’s also worth noting that Chiefs who receive an invitation from the Governor of a State will not be counted towards the limit on incoming transfers and neither will Chiefs who are not ranked in the top 300 for Power for a particular State.

*Note: The above information is only for the current version and is subject to change based on newer updates.

Q: When might the next State Merger be held?

:pushpin: Dev Response: We’d like to continue with future Mergers in the same fashion, holding a State Merger after each season comes to an end, followed by a large-scale State Transfer event. The dev team will take a look at the environment within each State before deciding which States are to participate in the Merger.

Q: If I want to transfer into a State but the State is about to undergo a Merger, do I need to find the Governor of that State and ask them to send me an invitation?

:pushpin: Dev Response: Say, for instance, States A, B, and C merge into State A during a Merger. Once the Merger is complete, invitations from the Governors in States B and C will no longer be valid. In this case, you’ll only be able to transfer if you are invited by the Governor from State A.

Q: In future State Transfer events, could you let us know earlier on how many Transfer Passes we need to use to transfer between States?

:pushpin: Dev Response: Thanks for your suggestion. We’ll think about how to optimize this in the future so that our Chiefs know earlier on how many Transfer Points and Transfer Passes are needed. This will help you to get prepared in advance.

Q: Why is it that in King of the Hill: Tier Matches, if there are no R4 or R5 members registered, the system automatically registers the Alliance and randomly selects participants, such that we are unable to change Alliances and join in cross-State events?

:pushpin: Dev Response: We apologize that the automatic registration mechanism caused you some inconvenience. We will be making changes to the automatic registration mechanism and our current direction is to not allow the system to automatically select participants if the Alliance is not registered in King of the Hill: Tier Matches, however the Alliance will still be involved in matching and tier matches, with 0 participants to ensure that the other two Alliances can obtain Tier Points as normal.

Q: What optimizations are going to be made to Battle Reports?

:pushpin: Dev Response: We have received suggestions from our Chiefs on optimizations to the Battle Report UI and our dev team has already started making decisions about what kind of changes we’ll be initially implementing. Following optimizations, the UI will enable Chiefs to view more intuitive combat data for every system.

And that’s a wrap for this episode of Developer Feedback. If you felt satisfied with the latest content, be sure to like the post. Don’t forget to tell us what kind of info you’d like to hear us talk more about in our next episode of Developer Feedback.

Scout reporting in! New changes are coming to State Warfare!

Greetings Survivors!

The State Warfare mode has been very popular, and the developers have been thinking about how to make the experience better for everyone. Recently, we tested out a feature that lets the States decide when a battle starts, and the players have provided a lot of suggestions on how to improve the mode. Thank you for all the feedback!

Based on the community feedback and some of the core issues pointed out by surveys, the developers have decided to overhaul the mode. We will test the new version on PTR in July, and launch it to some live States in August. Let Sarge tell you about the new changes!

- Warfare stage starting time:

Now determined by the leaders of the two opposing States.

- Cross-Server Capital Clash duration:

Now reduced to 1 hour, down from 8, to make the PvP stage shorter.

Now the side that earns the most points during that stage wins.

After Capital Clash becomes available, the 4 Fortified Facilities will also open up. The points earned from occupying the facilities are different than from occupying the Capital, so strategy becomes incredibly important.

The new Capital Clash requires Alliances of each State to formulate a plan first, and work together to win.

- Rewards adjustment:

Based on current rewards, the contents of the Points Ranking Rewards and Governor Packs have been improved to make them more valuable.

These features are still being tested, and we will share more about the changes and answer questions via the community. In the meantime, we will be collecting tester and community feedback to continually adjust the mode.

Thank you for your continued support. With your help, we are excited to make State Warfare more enjoyable for all!

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 12: Hot Topics

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 12: Hot Topics

Chiefs,

A new year brings new challenges as well as a new issue of Becca's Roadmap. It is Becca with the most recent game developments.

Welcome to this first issue of 2024! We will continue to listen to the Community and remain open to addressing and resolving the most pressing issues.

Now, let's get into the content of this issue and address the top five hottest pieces of feedback from last week:

Excessive icons in the lower right corner of the screen

We will reduce the number of icons on the screen in the upcoming 12.80 version. After the optimization, only the two most important weekly event icons such as "State Warfare," "King of the Hill," or "Reservoir Raid" will be displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.

Other events such as "Crystal Mine" and "Azurtane Heist" will be accessible via the "More" menu. This modification is intended to give a cleaner, more intuitive game interface.

No response from in-game feedback

We understand your expectations for feedback responses and we sincerely apologize for any delays. Our customer support team requires time to evaluate and check your questions.

For systemic issues, we usually compensate all affected players via in-game mail.

If you have any special circumstances, it is recommended that you select the correct type when filing the issue to ensure prompt and suitable response.

More use of the PTR

We're always using the PTR to test new features, including recent additions like the "Reservoir Raid," withdrawal from "King of the Hill" registration, and the "Tactical Emotes."

Moving forward, more content will be added to the PTR, allowing Community members to experience and provide feedback ahead of time, helping us to make more effective modifications and optimizations.

Lag issue

We are actively working to resolve the lag issue in "Azurtane Heist." We expect a significant improvement during the coming month to ensure that everyone has a smoother gaming experience.

State Transfer and Merger Questions

State Transfer and State Merger are normally scheduled at the conclusion of each season, or every three months.

In the upcoming State Transfer, we intend to improve the Leading Server's algorithm to give a more equitable and reasonable experience.

We are also in the process of planning for a State Merger.

Specific details and changes will be shared in forthcoming Announcements.

Becca gives New Year's greetings to all Chiefs, wishing you a year filled with wins in battle and life, as well as sunlight and joy. As always, we will remain by your side throughout the 2024 adventure, fighting each hurdle together. Please stay tuned for the next issue of Becca's Roadmap!

It's your friend Becca here. See you next time!

Developer Feedback Episode 19: Your Questions Answered

Chiefs,

Welcome to the latest edition of Developer Feedback. I’m Maddie, and I’ll be sharing the recent responses from our development team about the most common questions asked by our Chiefs.

March Interface Optimizations

We’ve been paying attention to the feedback from our Community about the new March interface. Thanks to everyone for your invaluable suggestions and amazing support.

We’ve optimized the button for editing your lineup according to the feedback we received and moved it from the top of the UI to the bottom. This avoids pop-up reminders in the game covering up the button for an unhindered experience.

We’re also aware of the questions our Chiefs have been asking about “Leader” and “Team” lineup options, for which we’d like to once again mention: When you initiate or participate in a Rally, you can use the “Leader” or “Team” buttons to set your lineup for the Rally. Your previous lineup selections are saved and can be used when you initiate or participate in a Rally.

Plan for the Crystal Mine

Ever since it was released, the State season Crystal Mine has caught everybody’s attention. Many Chiefs feel that the high-level Crystal Mines are too difficult, and that they cannot carry out gathering even with more powerful Alliance Members.

The Crystal Mine gameplay was originally designed so that Chiefs with different levels of Power could challenge the Crystal Mines that suited them the most. The most advanced Crystal Mines were designed in such a way that only some of the most powerful Chiefs would actually be able to successfully challenge them.

Currently, our development team doesn’t plan to change the difficulty of Crystal Mines, however, in a future season, we will consider designing an Alliance Crystal Mine gameplay where players can Rally to occupy Alliance Crystal Mines rather than going solo. We hope this Alliance Crystal Mine feature will enable players with different Power from Alliances or even States to better coordinate challenges and interactions and together claim rich Rewards.

*Note: The Alliance Crystal Mine is currently under development and the exact details can be viewed in-game when it is released.

Path of Water Matching Issues

Our development team are currently working on a series of optimizations to improve the matching logic in both the Path of Water and State Warfare. We will continue to monitor the algorithms to improve the data performance.

In the future, we will gradually optimize competitive cross-State gameplay features including the Path of Water. We are also carefully analyzing the recent feedback we received from players in the Community in regards to the Path of Water matching. We appreciate your patience and you can rest assured that we will be performing updates and optimizations to improve this.

Improved PTR Test Server

Recently, we performed an update on the PTR Test Server environment which we are currently balancing. In the future we will be inviting more players to enjoy the new functions available during PTR testing. We hope that these improvements to the PTR test environment will better assist us in fixing the potential issues with the new functions ahead of time.

And that’s a wrap for this episode of Developer Feedback, but I’ll continue to bring you the latest information and developments in the near future. If you feel satisfied with the latest content, be sure to like the post. Don’t forget to tell us what kind of info you’d like to hear us talk more about in our next episode of Developer Feedback.

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 8: Keep Your Account Safe and Beware of Unauthorized Third-Party Payment

Chiefs,
Welcome to Issue 8 of Becca’s Roadmap! This is Becca and I’m here to explore the world of SoS with you.

Recently, the hot topic in our Community has been State Mergers & Transfers, so I’ll touch on this first.

As we know, many States weren’t included in the latest Mergers and Transfers. This was due to the disparity in seasons between different States. We’re now working to unify progress across all States. After the next season is over (in late January), we’ll increase the scale of Mergers and Transfers. Those who missed out this time will get another chance then!

We are also still considering the option of providing mid-season Transfers next season for those of you who weren’t included in the Mergers and Transfers. This has both advantages and disadvantages, which we’re still trying to balance out, but if you feel very strongly about something you’d like to see happen, be sure to let us know! We can all discuss it in Camp Café.

Now is Story Time with Becca! The theme for this installment is: Betrayal and Absconding, adapted from a true story submitted by a real player which serves as a warning to everyone.

We’ve all seen this situation play out in one way or another: After meeting some “friendly” players in a game, they claim they can make in-game purchases for you at a ridiculously low price, cheaper than any official option. Sounds tempting, doesn’t it? But don’t fall for it, because more likely than not, it’s an elaborate scam.

That’s exactly what happened with “Jack” and “Jill”. They fought together in State of Survival through countless daily events including State Warfare and King of the Hill. Outside the game, they chatted on like old friends and stayed on good terms with each other.

One day, though, Jill told Jack she could hook him up with a special connection to get cheap purchases. Jack’s eyes bulged wide open at the very thought of such a brilliant idea, and despite sneaky suspicions, his love for the game took control. To try it out, Jack sent Jill some money and, before he could say Jack Robinson, he sure enough got double diamonds in return. That got Jack giddy as a schoolboy, so to reach the ranking he’d always wanted, he began sending money to Jill through his account to get her to make purchases for him. The excitement spurred Jack on even more, and he also told other gaming friends about it, suggesting they all use Jill’s special connection to make purchases.

But was that really the way things played out? Did his friend really have access to such discounts?

On a normal day just like any other, Jack logged on to play as he usually did, looking to fight a rival Alliance in King of the Hill. But when he accessed the Store to prepare for the battle, he realized his Diamonds were severely depleted and in the red. Jack contacted Customer Service only to be told, “Your account has had numerous refund requests recently, resulting in the corresponding items being docked from your account.”

That totally freaked Jack out. Jill had been making purchases for him using his account, but he didn’t know how Jill was doing it, and whether it was some kind of “special connection” or Jill herself who had requested all the refunds. When he tried to ask Jill about it, all he got in return was an error message which read “This player is not your friend” followed by a cold exclamation mark.

Then it suddenly dawned upon Jack that all along this was nothing more than a trap set up by Jill. She took advantage of his trust and made him transfer money to her a number of times through an illegitimate channel, before requesting a refund to get back the money for whatever she had bought for Jack. Of course, all of his friends who fell for Jill’s scheme also got the same notices about refunds and Diamonds being in the red. Jack and his buddies then tried to track Jill down but she was long gone.

Jack and company were left to lament about her running off with their money and betraying their friendship. What was even worse was how despicable it was of her to use the refund system to scam them.

So where does this leave all of us? It’s a reminder to us that we must be aware and prevent yourself from becoming the victim of unauthorized third parties. We’re all friends here, brought together through our love for the game, but that’s no reason to blindly trust someone. You must be cautious when it comes to money and assets, making sure your rights don’t get violated.

And don’t forget to only make purchases through official channels. Don’t become greedy or you might pay for it dearly. All discounts using one-on-one account transfers are bogus! And any connections for unauthorized purchases is risky at best!

Alright, that’s a wrap for today’s entry. I wish you happy gaming, but don’t forget to watch out for those scams!

See you next time!

Becca

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 9, Hot Topics

It’s great to have you back again with us for issue 9 of Becca’s Roadmap. I’m right here fighting alongside you no matter how tough the battles become in this post-apocalyptic world. Today I’m going to be divulging some secrets about State of Survival you’ve always been curious about.

Recently we received a lot of great feedback and suggestions from our Chiefs about the game. Your invaluable suggestions are just like those bright signal flares of the survivors, guiding our way through the dark. Today, I’ll be responding to the most popular topics raised by our Chiefs one by one.

Firstly, we received much attention and feedback from our Chiefs on the latest optimizations to Ray’s Place.

When adjusting the Rewards in Ray’s Place, what the devs and I were intending was to enable our Chiefs to have more ways of obtaining Heroes from previous Generations. At the same time we adjusted the Ray’s Place Rewards, we also optimized previous Generations of Heroes and enhanced them to provide our Chiefs with more opportunities to acquire previous Generations of Heroes.

After implementing the changes, we received a lot of feedback.

We understand that our Chiefs are keen to acquire Gen 16 Heroes, and we also hope that each of you will be able to develop your favorite Heroes.

To make this happen, we’ve performed a series of adjustments to the Rewards in Ray’s Place.

As a token of our thanks for your valuable suggestions, starting from next week, we’re adding Hero Completion Custom Tokens for those Chiefs who are upgrading to Gen 16 Heroes.

Let’s now move on to a hot topic in our Community: cross-Gen season optimizations.

We’re aware that transfers from Gen 12 States into Gen 16 States has caused some concern among our Chiefs.

The view that our devs have on this is that the original intent behind enabling cross-Gen transfers was to increase the matching pool for State Transfer events so that more States and Alliances could get matched more evenly with adversaries in order to optimize your gaming experience.

Your concerns about Hero development, matching, preserving seasons, and more, are exactly what we are focusing on now and will be key to our work in the future. In order to continuously optimize your gaming experience, we will make ongoing changes and improvements to the game in terms of both functionality and gameplay.

The third hot topic in our Community is the modified version of Alliance Throwdown. After increasing the Rewards in Alliance Throwdown, we also increased the difficulty of the corresponding challenges.

We have already issued compensation Rewards via Mail for the widespread impact that this had.

Please leave a comment and share your thoughts if you have any feedback whatsoever on the modified version of Alliance Throwdown.

I’ve done my best to address all of the questions our Chiefs have raised to help you remain strong in this post-apocalyptic world.

In State of Survival, the trust and openness of our Chiefs are like a powerful weapon that helps us to overcome anything that stands in our way.

I’ll stand right by your side as we bravely take on each challenge. See you again in the next issue. Wishing you the most ingenious battle plans and that every attack will lead to victory!

Yours, Becca

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 7, Nov. 2023

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 7, Nov. 2023

Hey there, Chiefs! It’s great to have you back for Issue 7 of Becca's Roadmap.

How did your Halloween go? I loved all of the amazing pictures and posts that were shared in our Community. Don't forget to invite me to the next party too! I’d hate to miss out on all the fun!

And I can totally understand why you might not have invited me to join in a party recently, with all the fresh content we’ve seen in all the recent updates, which you might be finding a bit overwhelming. Me and the development team take full responsibility and would like to apologize to everyone for this. And in order to make it up to you, we will be handing out more giveaways for everyone to enjoy.

Now, let's dive straight into the content for Issue 7.

First, we would like to remind everybody that the States involved in the State Merger and State Transfer are States 1-1014. The Merger will take place in November, followed by the State Transfer.

At the same time, State Transfer events will be launched in States 1015-1080, 1087-1098, 1129-1140, and 1183-1188.

After the upcoming season ends, we'll be making the State Merger and Transfer available in more States.

Next, I would like to address some issues regarding the Resident Evil crossover that have been of great concern to everyone recently:

First of all, regarding the issue whereby Chris's Story Missions require the Hero Precinct to reach level 28 before they get unlocked, we will lower the level required for these missions in version 1.20.30. That way, more new players will be able to claim these event Rewards!

Secondly, regarding the feedback on the unclear Event Calendar and how to obtain Chris's Fragments, we appreciate your concerns. Please rest assured, we are actively working on making relevant improvements. In our upcoming plans, we will introduce a clear calendar and provide clear guidance on how to obtain Chris's Fragments for free.

Speaking of the island, have you ever felt like it's a bit cramped?

I knew this would eventually happen, and now that I’ve had the chance to listen to all of your ideas, we have set a clear goal for the future: to expand the island. We can't let all those beautiful sculptures of yours sit there gathering dust in your Collections forever.

We have received your feedback about how inconvenient it is to upgrade sculptures on the island in Collections since there are too many steps involved going in and out of Collections. We will optimize this in the future so that you can upgrade sculptures directly in Collections.

Last but not least, we're aware of your concerns about random acquisition of Tempest Arms, and we are proud to present a solution to you: the Tempest Arms Exchange! Soon, you'll be able to trade Tempest Arms with other Chiefs. Something you might not find valuable could be a precious gem for someone else. Stay tuned for the launch of this cool new feature!

I want to express my gratitude to all of you for your incredible passion and continuous support for State of Survival. I look forward to every one of your comments. Let’s make your experience playing State of Survival the best it possibly can be.

Thanks once again, everyone! I’ll see you in the next issue!

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 6, Oct. 2023

Hey there, Chiefs! It’s great to have you back for Issue 6 of Becca's Roadmap. I'm Becca, and I’m here to share with you all the latest updates and improvements we’ve been making to the game.

First of all, regarding the recent lagging and issues with Gift Code settings in certain regions, I would like to express our most sincere apologies to all the affected Chiefs. We are deeply aware of the inconvenience and trouble these problems have caused to you all.

In order to make up for our mistakes, we will be giving out more giveaways for everyone to enjoy, via the Community, as a token of our apologies. We will do our utmost to prevent similar issues from occurring again. We hope you are all looking forward to the upcoming Halloween and Thanksgiving Community events and fantastic giveaways on offer!

Next, I would like to address an issue that has been of great concern to everyone recently:

Chiefs in some States are currently unable to obtain Capsules for Gen 7 Heroes.

We are fully aware that this directly affects everyone’s ability to enjoy the benefits of the Sharp Squad Bonus and Global Bonus. Currently, the solution we are exploring is to introduce an option that allows Chiefs to spend Golden Fragments to upgrade Gen 7 Heroes. However, this solution is still under discussion, and we need more input and suggestions from our Chiefs. So please share your thoughts in our Community, and we will carefully consider them.

And now, I have some exciting news to share with everyone: the State Merger and State Transfer period are just around the corner!

As the Alliance Duel and Escort Mission come to an end, the long-awaited State Merger and State Transfer period are on the horizon.

And I’ve brought you exclusive info directly from the dev team:

1. The State Merger is expected to take place in mid-November. Please stay tuned for the specific date in the upcoming Community announcements.

2. The State Merger will be launched in States 2-1014.

3. After the State Merger, a new Leader will be elected.

*Becca whispers: If there are specific States you really don't want to merge with, feel free to drop me a private message or leave a comment and I’ll sort it out for you.

4. This time our State Transfer involves a wide range of different States, for which we will inform everyone about the specific details later on.

5. Important changes to the State Transfer: The previous Power-based system for the State Transfer will be replaced with a points-based system. Each Chief's Transfer Points will be calculated based on a combination of factors, including their Troop Power, Tech, and other stats. The transfer Power limit will be replaced with a Transfer Points limit.

Last but certainly not least, I want to express my gratitude to all of you for your incredible passion and continuous support for State of Survival. I look forward to every one of your comments. Let’s make your experience playing State of Survival the best it possibly can be.

Thank you once again, everyone! I’ll see you in the next issue!

Fortress Fight Guidance

Fortress Fight Guidance (Part A)
In Fortress Fight, all the alliances should fight for the control of the Fortresses in the World Map and win great rewards.
Here are the basic rules and knowledge you need to know about the gameplay.

Registration Period:
-When the event starts, all the alliances must register first.
- There are 16 Fortresses in total, 12 Lv.1 and 4 Lv.2. For each Fortress, your alliance will get different rewards. Please tap the particular Fortress or the Event page to view the details about rewards.
- The Alliance Leader and R4 members can choose which Lv.1 and Lv.2 Fortresses to challenge for during the registration stage.
- If your Alliance occupied a Fortress in the previous event, your Alliance will automatically register in the contest of the same Fortress in the following event.
- During registration, Alliances can choose 3 time slots (from 5) to challenge for the Fortress.
- Alliances that have auto-registered can register to challenge 2 other Fortresses.
- The number of auto-registered Fortresses you can challenge for is not restricted, up to 14.

Fight Period:
- After the event starts, members of registered Alliances can send troops to occupy the Fortress.
- During the 2-hour challenge period, an Alliance can take Control of the Fortress by occupying the Fortress for 30 minutes continuously.
- If no Alliance occupies the Fortress for a continuous 30 minutes, the Alliance that occupies the Fortress whenever the contest finishes will take Control.

Fortress Fight Guidance (Part B)
More knowledge about the Fight Period:
1. In combat at Lv.1 Fortress, all the participants are counted as defending side (Troops only get wounded but won’t die as long as the hospital capacity is enough)
2. In combat at Lv.2 Fortress, all the participants are counted as attacking side (A certain ratio of troops will die in the combat; But the death rate is lower than attacking a Settlement)
3. You are allowed to teleport your Settlement by the Fortress. It will save you time and increase the success rate of your allies if you do so;
4. Join the rally launched by your allies with high battlepower. It will increase the success rate too.

Event Reward
- The Alliance that defeats the GigaCorp forces in the Fortress will obtain Victory Rewards, which are divided into Participation Rewards, Member Rewards and Special Rewards.
- Allies who join the battle to defeat the GigaCorp forces will receive Participation Rewards.
- All Alliance members will receive Member Rewards.
- The Leader and R4 members can distribute the Special Rewards.

-The Alliance that controls the Fortress will get Fortress Rewards (Special rewards at each Fortress and can be distributed to the alliance members by the leaders) and Control Rewards (Rewards for every member in the alliance);

Rank Rewards:
- Eight events constitute one Season.
- During a Season, each time you control a Fortress you will earn Season Points.
- Controlling a Fortified Bunker will earn 1 Season Point, and a Fortified Facility will earn 2 Season Points;
- Alliances will rank according to the points they earned and get rank rewards accordingly when the season ends.

Hope this guide will help you with the event.
Good Luck!

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 5, Sept. 2023

Chiefs!
Welcome to issue 5 of Becca’s Roadmap.
I’m so glad to be sharing our latest work update with you. Naturally, the developers and I must thank all of you for the invaluable suggestions you shared with us. Your feedback inspires us to constantly improve the game.

First up is the Alliance Duel everyone cares about the most. We received all of your comments!
1. I understand that the issue of Troop losses is something that has certainly been on everyone’s mind. We’ve now applied a change so that all of your Troops will be returned, which we hope will mitigate your losses in battle.
2. We also noticed the problem in finishing the State Event in Alliance Duel. Many Chiefs commented that their opposing Alliances had not built any Alliance Buildings, thus they could not complete the “Destroy enemy Alliance Building” objective. To fix this issue, we’ve decided to openly display whether an Alliance has constructed any Alliance Buildings beforehand for you so that you can make an informed choice about your opponent.

Meanwhile, we received feedback from Chiefs of different generations on the Store Rewards for the Path of Water: The Summit casual gameplay. We’ll keep paying careful attention to your comments to update the Rewards items to satisfy your demands. We hope the Rewards in subsequent events will better suit your needs based on your generation.
We also received a lot of feedback on matchmaking in the Reservoir Raid. We’ve improved the system in the hope of providing a fairer, more even playing field. We welcome any comments you many have in the next Reservoir Raid, which we are sure will help us to improve your gaming experience.

Lastly, I want to thank all of you for your feedback on the Anniversary. We strive to create a festive mood and are ecstatic to see all the positive responses from you. If you have any suggestions for the next anniversary, feel free to comment or leave messages for me. I’m all ears.

Once again, thank you for your passion and support for State of Survival. I look forward to every one of your comments. Let’s make your experience the best it possibly can be.

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 4, Sept. 2023

Chiefs,

Happy anniversary, and welcome to the fourth issue of Becca’s Roadmap!

We’re absolutely wrapped with the suggestions you provided us with for the new season. The other developers and I sat down together and read through them carefully. There were some great ideas and we swiftly made the adjustments to the new season based on your feedback.

This focus for this issue: Improving the Alliance Duel. Our development team received a ton of comments and feedback during the week following the Alliance Duel.

In the feedback we compiled from last week, many Chiefs expressed dissatisfaction toward the Alliance Duel. The issues that came up were mainly centered around the following:

1. Severe losses on both sides during Alliance Duel battles.

2. Various issues caused by voluntarily demolishing Alliance Buildings.

3. Less benefits came from destroying buildings compared with directly targeting the enemy base.

4. Huge disparity in power between attacking and defending Alliances.

5. Alliance Duel Tasks were difficult to complete.

We have made the following adjustments in response to the feedback provided above:

1. Troop Death Optimizations: We have adopted a mechanic for recovering Troops similar to the one seen in State Warfare. From now on, we will recover 90% of your Troops lost within an hour via mail after every Alliance Duel. This does not include Troops in the Hospital or Enlistment Office.

Thank you for your valuable suggestions! We will always be listening to your feedback to continuously improve the season’s battle mechanics.

2. Settlement Attack Optimizations:

- Attacking Settlements no longer provides Points or Merits.

- During Settlement battles, we have reduced the wounded rate for defending Troops so that the attacker no longer loses Troops.

Although every Chief has their own combat preference, Becca recommends that you reduce your attacks on Settlements or use a Peace Flare to prevent unnecessary losses.

3. Alliance Building Optimizations: When a battle starts, the Alliance’s Control Center and Tower can no longer be demolished voluntarily.

4. War Declaration Restrictions: Adjusted the maximum Leaderboard rankings from 5 to 3.

5. Alliance Duel Task Adjustments: State Event Alliance Duel Tasks have now been reduced to 1. Task Rewards have been increased accordingly.

Many Chiefs have also mentioned that Dreadbeasts are not included in MIGO’s Infected Fiends tasks. We will incorporate this change in a future version.

We also received many requests to reset the Alliance Duel Week 1 Leaderboard. Our development team is currently discussing this and considering the scope of its impact. If you have any comments or suggestions on the matter, feel free to leave us a comment. Becca will get back to you soon.

Your companion,

Becca

Becca's Roadmap | Issue 3, Aug. 2023

Chiefs,

This is Becca from the State of Survival team, reaching out to you with a cup of cappucino (you chose for me) in one hand and a progress report in the other.

First, I want to personally apologize for the recent bugs that have cropped up following our latest update. We understand the frustration this has caused and I want to assure you that we've been working tirelessly to rectify these issues.

Our team has been burning the midnight oil, working around the clock to identify and resolve these bugs. We've made significant strides in rectifying issues such as BP and Stats loss, errors related to heroes' talents, skills and fragments cost.

With each passing hour, we're getting closer to completely stamping out these bugs.

We won't rest until we've achieved a smooth gaming experience for all our players!

In response to the questions asked during our last Ask Becca session, I have some updates:

1️⃣ We've decided to slow down a bit. We'll be focusing on celebrating the Anniversary and hosting The Path of Water tournament first. As a result, the seasonal resource feature will be put on hold for now.

2️⃣ The new season will bring you strategic gameplay like never before. Check out developer updates on YouTube where you can find everything you need to know about Alliance Duel. YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBoPK1BJNpE

-As for agreeing on war: higher bets get to choose first. Be proactive as much as possible during the choosing stage to avoid a bye.

-Remember to use a Peace Flare if you don't want to participate. The Battle only lasts 1 hour per week.

3️⃣ I also heard many of you want the Limitless Gen 1 in the Hero Search. I would love to hear more about why this is and how we can optimize it.

4️⃣ We apologize for the confusion when introducing the part of Revitalize the Markets (resource recycle). Our intention was to let you know that during this season, you can exchange old items in your bag for new rewards. The picture of tomatoes and wood was misleading and we're sorry for any confusion caused.

I also want to address some additional feedback we've received:

1️⃣ Missing Certificates of Honor in the MIGO Store: We hear you. Chiefs will be able to exchange Certificates of Honor during the second phase of the season.

2️⃣ Stamina Shortage: We understand that stamina is crucial for competing in all events. To address this, we have reduced the stamina costs on Troop Drill from 20 to 5! Cheers.

Your voices matter to us and are instrumental in helping us improve the State of Survival experience.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Becca

Reservoir Raid: The Summit, Q&A (August)

Greetings, Survivors!

We’re proud to announce our new Reservoir Raid: The Summit feature, which goes live in Version 1.16.40. We’ll be performing testing for The Summit on the PTR Server and in some online States.

From August 1 through August 28, we will be performing testing on the Reservoir Raid: The Summit event in the following States:

19, 22_23, 27, 29_30, 33, 42, 45_46, 54, 61, 63_65, 70_71, 73, 81_83, 86, 88, 97_98, 101_108, 110, 115_116, 120_123, 127_128, 133, 140, 146, 148_151, 155_156, 159_161, 165, 167_168, 178, 180_181, 183, 185, 188_194, 196, 198, 200_214, 221, 223, 233_234, 242, 244, 253, 269, 272, 292 and 306_328.

Each week, Alliances in the above States may register to take part in The Summit. They are pitted against each other in the final Reservoir Raid each Sunday.

Testing for the Reservoir Raid will be conducted over 4 weeks, with a total of 4 rounds.

The dev team carefully read through the questions on The Summit submitted by our Survivors in the PTR Server and on our Community channels. Please check out the Q&A below for the answers. They may address some of your burning questions.

- Q: Will Reservoir Raid: The Summit replace the Reservoir League?

A: Although Reservoir Raid: The Summit is an upgraded version of the Reservoir League with the addition of a tier system for Alliances, they are still two different features and we will be making both available to our Survivors.

- Q: The Reservoir Raid: The Summit takes place on Sundays, which is a little inconvenient for me. Is there a chance it could be moved to Saturdays instead?

A: The Reservoir Raid: The Summit is still undergoing testing and adjustments will be made based on the feedback provided by our Survivors online. It’s possible that the event could be moved to Saturdays when the final version gets released. Please stay tuned on our Community channels for more announcements.

- Q: Will The Summit tiers get reset?

A: Yes, they will. The Reservoir Raid: The Summit will be held in seasons, which currently last 12 weeks. After each season, the Alliance tiers will be adjusted accordingly. Survivors may view the progress of each season from The Summit menu in the game.

- Q: Can I change Alliances after registering for The Summit?

A: No, Survivors cannot change Alliances from the point that registration ends up until when Rewards are tallied that week. However, when The Summit ends that week, Survivors may change Alliances. Similarly, after an Alliance has registered for The Summit one week, the Alliance list cannot be changed until a new event starts the following week.

- Q: When are The Summit seasonal Rewards dispatched?

A: The Summit seasonal Rewards get tallied when the season officially draws to a close. Survivors are awarded Solo Rewards based on the number of matches they take part in and their performance. Since the testing period is shorter than an actual season, we will dispatch Rewards to participating Alliances once testing is complete.

That wraps up our Q&A session for The Summit. Please feel free to leave a comment to share any of your thoughts or suggestions about Reservoir Raid: The Summit.

We will randomly select 100 lucky Survivors from the comments section to receive in-game Rewards.

Meanwhile, we will be optimizing The Summit ongoingly based on feedback provided by our Survivors. Thanks for your support!

Have fun out there!

Your State of Survival Team

The Capital Clash Introduction

The Capital Clash Introduction
The Capital Clash is a crucial event in which players can fully play their role.

1. As The Capital Clash begins for the first time, you need to cooperate with other players to kill the Overseers surrounding the Capital and thus the Boss will emerge.
2. You will obtain system rewards according to the damage you've dealt to the Overseers and the Boss.
3. If an Alliance has killed the Boss, its Leader will assume the role of first Governor.
4. During the event, you can join the Exploration to weaken the Boss's power first and then send your troops to attack him.
5. Once the first Governor is determined, the Capital will enter Protected status. When The Capital Clash begins again, it will be a PvP battle.
1. After the Protected status is lifted, you need to send troops to occupy the Capital and 4 surrounding Towers.
2. If the four Towers are occupied by enemies, each Tower will kill the troops in the Capital periodically.
3. The Capital Clash will last 12 hours. If an Alliance has occupied the Captical for 6 hours in a row, its Leader will become the new Governor.
4. In the event that no Alliance can occupy the Capital for 6 consecutive hours, the Alliance Leader who has the longest accumulative occupying time will become the new Governor during the 12-hour event.
Notes: 1. For all Alliances, Overseers’ HP will be the same as when they join the Exploration and battles.
2. Similarly, the Boss's HP will be the same to all Alliances when they join the Exploration. But if you retreat or fail to kill a Boss before withdrawing, the Boss will recover HP immediately.
3.The March speed is very slow in the Deceleration Area.
4. If your settlement is in the Deceleration Area, it will be kicked out and moved to a new place randomly once you fail to defend it.
5.Be sure to protect the surrounding Towers taken by your alliance when occupying the Capital due to their enormous consumption.

State Warfare Pro Guide

State Warfare Pro Guide
Author: Savagery-gaming

Here are the quick guide and tips for the whole State Warfare event!

MATCHING STAGE

Once the matching stage is over, you can scout your opponents state. You can also view or find them on your leaderboard - Global View-

Study your opponent, strategize with your state leaders ( that if you have a united state, if not do it with your alliance)

Add an account to your opponent's state. Make sure to reach HQ 8 so you can access the leaderboards.

Do not talk on SC ( State Chat). This will give your opponent's suspicion ( One common mistake of people who spy in war games)

Make notes of which alliances are strong, active etc.

Do not talk about strategy in State Chat as we all know, spies even on games are legit. Or even trash talk your opponents. ( Some players will take that seriously. Chances are, your alliance will be their target for warfare.

PREPARATION STAGE

For this stage, all players, alliances and both states will be competing for ranks per stage. There will be 5 stages that will run for 5 days.

The State with the highest total points will be the winner and will have 15% healing buff for the entire warfare stage.

The defeated State will be hosting the capital clash.

The stages are similar to SOTF ( Survival of the fittest) but for the solo stage points upon completing 3 stages, you will be able to get an additional signet reward. Rewards corresponding on the total signet that you collected will be sent to your mail after the event. If you are in the new states and looking forward to SvS ( State vs State) , I may suggest not to MAX OUT everything so you can maximize your gameplay during this stage. Plasma cores usage give out a lot of points as well doing spins at Ray's Place.

Save as many biocaps as you can and Use them only for much needed things.

Save up your speeds ( construction, research, troops).

For spenders, You can either stock up items prior to SvS by buying special offer packages during events . One of them is the Plasma Lab that runs for 3 days. This is where you can get plasma cores at a good value compared to other offers. The discarded components DOES NOT expire. and the event repeats every 1-2 weeks.

Every event, the game drops a lot of pack offers. So it is up to you on how you utilize this.

A. Solo Stage Points

- You still need to hit required points to unlock rewards per solo stage

B. Alliance Points

- The solo points each player in your alliance accumulate will cover your alliance stage points.

C. State Points

- The points made by alliances within your state will be counted as one against your opponent.

So basically, This is a competition between each player, each alliance, and between two states.

Solo reward crates can be opened every time you completed a stage, whereas for the Alliance, it will be sent via mail once the stage is finished.

WARFARE STAGE

State with the highest total points for the previous preparation stages will attack opponent's State Capital.

The winner from the preparation stage will play the capital clash at their opponent's capital.

Territory bonuses and Governor buffs are invalid

Players will be given free state teleports (3 in total) and you can buy the next ones with Biocaps.

You can attack anyone regardless of HQ level ( Enemy State) BUT you can only gain points by attacking 3 HQ difference (going up and going down from your level). You cannot plunder resources within 3 HQ differences as well.

You can get points by killing your enemy's troops,

For rallies, the HQ level will be calculated based on leaders.

Alliance towers, HQs, and other buildings are non- attackable.

Players with HQ16 and above can teleport

Basically, the Capital Warfare last for 12 hours, BOTH states can teleport to each other's state during the 1 hour before the capital starts and the 1 hour after the capital ends. if the Capital Warfare ends quicker than the 12 hours, people are able to teleport to opponent state during the left time. However, winner of Prep Stage can port anytime during Warfare stage.

Occupying and controlling the capital and the towers will earn points according to the power level of occupying troops.

Analysis center buffs are invalid during Warfare Stage.

State chat will be open to both states. You may use discord voice chats for your internal plans.

Alliance/State with the longest occupancy or 6 hours will be the winner. The leader of the winning alliance in a state is the default governor and he can transfer it to anyone within his alliance within 2 hours upon winning.

Alliances from your state will be tagged as allies. If you are occupying the middle and your allies ( alliances from your state) occupy towers, the towers wont fire.

Chiefs will get 24 hours of shield or peace flare for free before Warfare Stage.

Enlistment Office will have a huge capacity increase in the warfare Stage.

GOVERNOR RULES:

Win Prep and Win Captial Clash : Leader of the alliance with 6 consecutive hours control of the Capital or the longest occupation time is the default governor. Leader can transfer leadership within 2 hours. Additional boosts for governor stats, governor packs will be doubled.
Win Prep and Defeat in CC : Governor will be the governor prior to SvS Warfare.
Defeat Prep and Win CC: Leader of the alliance wins the Warfare Stage will be the governor. Leader can transfer leadership within 2 hours. Additional boosts for governor stats, governor packs will be doubled.
Defeat Prep and Defeat in CC: The governor's position will be vacant for 2 weeks.

ENLISTMENT RULES:

Dead troops from attacking settlements will be permanent except for the revival stage in State Warfare
Capital attacks/defense will result to wounded until hospital capacity.
Dead troops from defending your settlement can be enlisted.

NOTE: Only 70% of your troops goes to enlistment, 30% are permanent losses.

REVIVAL STAGE

During the revival stage, You can recover up to 90% of your dead troops.

During the recuperation period, 20% healing speed will be activated for both states.

Basic revival rate is 30%

You can request revival assistance from your allies. Each player will receive 10 coupons or vouchers and each kit will have a 1% revival rate. You can give it to one person within your alliance or you can split it to 10 players in your team. Each player can receive up to 50% vouchers.

Revival vouchers can only be given to your alliance members and you cannot use it on your own troops.

You can buy revival kits for a 1% revival rate and a maximum of 10% (2250 bio caps).

YOU CAN ONLY REVIVE TROOPS DURING THE REVIVAL STAGE

The number of dead troops will be determined by warfare stage Battle Reports and Hospital Capacity. Troops that are not revived during this period will be permanently dead.

TIPS:

You can invite your farm accounts to help assist with vouchers or you can leave your alliance and join another.

HOW REVIVAL /DEAD TROOPS WORK

1. When you are attacking settlements, all dead troops will go to revival stage.

2. If you are defending your settlement :

Lightly Wounded: Auto healed once your march goes back to your settlement

Wounded: These are the troops that goes directly to your hospital capacity. It needs to be healed.

Losses: These are the troops that exceeds your hospital capacity. 70% goes to enlistment and 30% are "Permanently dead". These permanent dead go straight to your revival stage.

3.Attacking or Defending Towers and Capital :

Same rules apply to normal in- State CC. No dead until hospital capacity. Once hospital is full, Enlistment rule applies.

So much for the StateWarfare pro guide. Hope you will like it!

ANNOUNCEMENTS11/08/2023
STORY MISSION: Lan, New Gen 16 Hero

Martial Arts Legacy

Lan came from a martial arts family and lived up to the expectations placed on him as a kung fu master.

Although known equally in the kung fu circle for her beauty and talent, she was deemed too short and too light by the older practitioners. So, when she announced the reopening of her family gym, she was met with mockery and derision.

Even her parents weren't supportive of the idea and sent her to school in America to study medicine, in the hope that she’d become a doctor.

She witnessed a robbery near the school and easily subdued the perpetrator to save an old lady. The woman took a keen interest in her kung fu, going so far as to offer her funding for a studio.

But Lan balked at the unbelievable opportunity because she didn't want to quit school and disappoint her family.

The woman told her she once faced a similar decision when she broke up with a lover in favor of a research project. She never got married, but she knew she would later regret it if she didn't choose the project.

This caused Lan to commit to her decision and walk away from any regrets in her life.

Her martial arts studio opened on just as scheduled. She could have made her new fighting style popular, but the emergence of the Infected ruined everything.

In a world fraught with peril, Lan discovered the true value of kung fu. It was not just about fitness or mere performance, but a weapon used to counter assailants and defend yourself.

Thanks to her careful guidance, her small studio had developed into a mini-settlement.

Every survivor flocking to the studio had pictured the kung fu master as a calm elderly person.

But they were shocked to find a fashionable young lady pretty enough to be a cover girl standing right before their eyes.

Though as anyone who's been through Lan's strict training would know, she is anything but soft.

ANNOUNCEMENTS11/08/2023
STORY MISSIONS: Chukon, New Gen 16 Hero

Ninja of the Night

His father endowed upon him this name with the hope that he would be loyal in spirit.

As an abandoned orphan, Chukon endured a terrible childhood. While the orphanage kept him from starving to death, the feeble child was constantly subject of bullying and humiliation.

Until one day, he fought back and accidentally killed one of the chief culprits who bullied him. Chukon panicked and fled the orphanage. It was then that he met with his father.

His father was a criminal mastermind. Chukon was trying to rob his wallet, when the man exited his car. But the man saw something in the kid and decided to make a personal assassin out of him, and named him Chukon.

Thereafter, Chukon, a name that struck fear among the Japanese Mafia, was born. He walked in the darkness, dealing silent fatal blows.

Fate dealt him a new hand, when, after assassinating a gang member, he noticed an infant in diapers.

Just how helpless, weak, and fragile the baby was had reminded Chukon of himself.

It struck a chord deep within his soul. In the apocalyptic world of the Infected, he wanted to protect the child just as if he was protecting his former self.

ANNOUNCEMENTS11/08/2023
STORY MISSION: Marcos, New Gen 16 Hero

The Way of Survival

Marcos felt that he was really insignificant very early on.

He was by no means strong, smart, or handsome, and barely even had an ounce of aggression in his blood. Ever since childhood, he has been the most neglected of all wallflowers, relegating to admiring those who stood out from a corner where he could hide in the background.

Still, he truly did yearn for admiration and some kind of recognition from others.

Then suddenly, everything started to change when he got lost one time and a chain of unexpected reactions occurred.

Wilderness survival programs inspired fellow kids to follow suit and imitate what they saw on the screen. Soon enough, nearly a dozen children had gone missing, prompting rescue squads to swarm the forest.

Everybody was found—all but Marcos, that is.

Just when they were about to give up trying, Marcos came out. Not only was he unscathed, it seemed that he had even thrived in the environment.

The huge coverage of the news gave Marcos a much-needed boost of confidence as he realized he had finally discovered his calling.

Visiting all extreme locales and being the greatest master of survival had became his pursuit and his dream. He tattooed a world map on his leg to motivate braving one treacherous terrain after the next.

Not even the Infected crisis could stifle his passion.

This only meant he would face the most dangerous survival challenge of all—exactly what he wanted and was good at.

A Cozy Chat With Our Developers (July 18)

Greetings Chiefs:

Recently we received many welcome questions from our Survivors, so we thought we’d sit down and have a cup of coffee with our Developers to pick their brains for some answers.

-How do I unlock the Coordinated Operation event for Aircraft?

A: The Coordinated Operation requires your State to have been open for a certain period of a time. First, you’ll need the 2nd-generation Aircraft, the NHI Ni-1 Yastreb, to be unlocked in your State. In addition, you’ll need the 2nd-generation Aircraft to be available in the Joint Exercises event along with 2nd-generation Aircraft materials.

-How do Power and attributes get calculated if I deploy the NHI Ni-1 Yastreb and Stinger Attacker Aircraft at the same time?

A: The Power and attributes of the Aircraft in your Squadron are added together and factored into your overall Troop attributes. The order of Aircraft in your Squadron bears no impact on the value of attributes. Don't forget that Talents of Aircraft only take effect when they are deployed in a March.

-Why didn't the attributes stack up when I deployed my Stinger Attacker and NHI Ni-1 Yastreb in the same Squadron?

A: We are sorry to hear that your gaming experience was not favorable. Some Survivors may have been affected by such an issue with their total Aircraft attributes when adjusting the order of Aircraft in their Squadron. We fixed this in Version 1.16.30 after being notified of the bug by our Survivors. Please update your game to the latest version.

-Can I still upgrade my Stinger Attacker after the NHI Ni-1 Yastreb gets unlocked in the game? How do I obtain the materials used for upgrades?

A: Yes, you will still be able to upgrade your Stinger Attacker when the NHI Ni-1 Yastreb is made available in the game. You can obtain the materials needed for Aircraft upgrades in the Joint Exercises event. If you've already acquired a 2nd-generation Aircraft (NHI Ni-1 Yastreb) in the Joint Exercises event, simply enter your Hangar to exchange materials for the 2nd-generation NHI Ni-1 Yastreb and the Stinger Attacker.

-It would be so much easier if we could upgrade Heroes to their max level in a single tap of the screen, consuming all the necessary Combat Manuals automatically. Would it be possible to enable such functionality so we don’t have to tap the screen over and over again?

A: Thanks for your feedback. We'll consider applying an optimization like this in the future.

-How's is the progress going for the new State Merger function?

A: Our development team takes the State Merger very seriously, as our Survivors from older States are concerned about it. We previously tested the State Merger and kept track of the feedback we received on the gaming experience. However, our investigation revealed that the State Merger fell short of Survivors' expectations. The development team is now looking into new directions for the State Merger and exploring more possibilities to meet the needs of our gamers. Thanks to all involved for sharing your feedback during the testing phase.

State Merger Version 2.0 is already an important part of our development plan and development is underway. The developers are investing the necessary time into it to perfect the functionality and conduct subsequent stability tests in order to provide our Survivors with an optimal experience while also satisfying the needs of our Survivors from older States. We'll keep you up to date with the latest State Merger news on our Community channels, so stay tuned!

That brings us to the end of our Cozy Chat with our developers. We really appreciate all your feedback and all your support. We'll see you next time!

Your State of Survival Team

Your Guide to Hero Builds

Chief,

Our new Hero Builds and Hero Completion for Generation 7-12   Heroes are officially live. To help our Chiefs get familiar with these new   features and how they can be used together, we’ve prepared this guide which   we hope will come in handy for you.

Thanks to Dr. Yamazaki’s ground-breaking research on genetic   agents capable of greatly increasing the physical strength of Heroes, the   “Hero Completion Plan” is now available, which has enabled Heroes to be   upgraded like never before.

The grueling experiments that Dr. Yamazaki carried out over   lengthy periods of time often late into the night led him to discover that   injecting different Heroes with different genetic agents allowed them to   develop in three different ways. For some Heroes, bone mineral density and   changes on the cellular level were observed, allowing them to become highly   agile and strong. For other Heroes, Dr. Yamazaki noticed an incredible   ability to recover and increase in stamina, becoming able to take more   damage. While the third change observed was the ability to produce a biotoxin   and use it to manipulate the enemy.

Thus sprung forth the concept of Hero Builds, which can be   harnessed by our Chiefs to strengthen teams of Heroes in more strategic ways.   The greatest thing about them is they make Hero upgrades completely painless   and effortless!

When Heroes attain Completion, they inherit 3 unique Skills   which can be either active of passive.

Active Skills: These Skills are cast actively, and can be easily   countered by Silent Skills.

Passive Skills:   Cast passively, and immune to the effects of Silent Skills. Assault Passive   Skills are countered by Disarm Skills, rendering them inactive.

Each Hero is predisposed to its own unique Hero Build. If you   team up Heroes of the same Build, they gain a significant upper hand!

▼Heroes each belong to one of the three Hero Builds, which are   Control, Offense, and Defense. These Builds have mutual restraint   relationships whereby Control counters Offense, Offense counters Defense, and   Defense counters Control.

To cater to everyone's strategic choices for team Builds, the   following Heroes may now attain Completion in the latest update:

Gen 7: Magnus, Cardini, and Grimm (Control Build)

Gen 8: Hank, Courtney & Diablo, and Tina (Defense Build)

Gen 9: Derek Rake, Essie, and Arthur (Offense Build)

Gen 10: Laura, Strings, and Conor

Gen 11: Kyle,   Buzz, and Scope

Gen 12: Lori, Ram,   and Codi

*Please note that:

1. Generation 10-12 Heroes can now attain Completion where there   are now three new Hero Builds. Each Hero is either a Control, Offense, or   Defense Build.

2. Heroes of Generation 7 or above can now attain Completion   with the three new Builds, each of which has its own unique icon. The overall   Skills have a more clear focus based on the three Builds, making them easier   to recognize.

3. Generation 13 Heroes are predisposed to the Offense Build,   Generation 14 to the Control Build, and Generation 15 Heroes to the Defense   Build. View the game or our official notices for the most accurate   information.

Let’s check out some examples for some of our Heroes who have   just become Completion Heroes:

Deploy the Generation 7 Completion Heroes Magnus, Cardini, and   Grimm in a team featuring the Control Build;

Deploy the Generation 8 Completion Heroes Hank, Courtney &   Diablo, and Tina in a team featuring the Defense Build;

Since Defense counters Control, Generation 8 teams will win over   Generation 7 teams.

In the same way, a team made of Generation 9 Completion Heroes   Derek Rake, Essie, and Arthur will be an Offense Build, and since Offense   counters Defense, they will win over Generation 8 teams.

Bear in mind, though, that the Generation 7 Hero teams are a   Control Build, which Counters the Offense Build of Generation 9 teams.

For Generations 10-12, each generation has all three of the   different Builds.

As you can see in the picture, you can choose any Build you   prefer for the next generation of Heroes. For example, if you are unlocking   Generation 10 Heroes, and you want your team to be an Offensive Build, the   best choice of Hero would be Conor, whereas if you want to go for the Control   Build, you can choose Laura. For a Defense Build, select Strings.

The same principle applied to Generation 11 and 12 Heroes. If   you’d prefer your team to be a certain Build, choose the Heroes who belong to   that Build.

Regardless of which generation your Heroes belong to, Hero   Builds enable unreal bonuses with a powerful effect. When you’re thinking   about which strategy to deploy for your team, be sure to think about which   Build your Heroes are.

That pretty much wraps up our guide on Hero Builds, which we   will was informative. If you have any questions or feedback, we’d love to   hear from you in the Comments section below.

Have fun out there!

Trick... or Treat...

Trick... or Treat...
Author: Miss Guitar
· Perspective of the Infected:
"Freckle, how much candy have you got?"
I grinned and greeted him, but my facial muscles were stiff.
Freckle struggled to stuff his intestines back into his stomach. I stared at his intestines-- no candy-shaped bumps. Well, I knew it. Freckle wasn't that cute, it was hard for him to get candy.
Freckle swaggered forward, refusing to answer me.
"Flop."
Freckle's head wobbled on his shoulders and then finally rolled off, he laid on the ground in frustration, not moving any more.
I found a big tree and hid behind it. Freckle's head was very round, and I knew exactly who would like it.
"Woof!...Woof!"
I was a little excited, the black creature was here again!
Freckle's head was thrown high, and rolled all the way to my feet.
Oh, the creature had found me. I wanted to run, but I could only stagger slowly. He stared at me expectantly in a strange posture.
He was on his stomach, with his tail wagging playfully.
“Woof, woof!
He stopped playing with the Freckle's head, but kept barking at me.
Oh, too much noise. It reminded me of a noise that often gave me headache. It sounded like a saw cutting through my head. I heard the neighbor complaining that the noise was made by a big-bellied man who never zipped up his clothes.
"Frank, Frank, where are you?"
The crisp voice came closer. I hurriedly hid behind the tree. Then I saw the "yellow coat" come running over, holding a large crossbow.
The black creature named Frank got low to the ground and tossed Freckle's head toward the yellow coat. His tail whipped back and forth.
"Oh stop! I've told you a thousand times, never come to me with the head of an Infected!
The voice of the yellow coat was a bit angry. Infected… this word… familiar... as well as this voice ...
The yellow coat left with Frank. I looked at Freckle's head on the ground, feeling a little upset.
This Halloween was terrible. I didn’t even get candy--
Candy?
There had appeared a pile of candy next to Freckle's head, colorful, sweet candy!
This Halloween was great: so much candy!

· Perspective of Maddie:
“Candy Time!
Maddie, throw some candies down now!"
Rusty was yelling downstairs. Only a few people knew that Rusty had a sweet tooth, especially for hard candy.
“Give us Candy!
or Rusty will sing for you! "
Chef Ken was also excited. He adored sweets. But to tell the truth, he was never very picky, loved every kind of food.
These guys with big appetites, my candy was running out!
You know, in this world, it's harder to get some candy than it is to see a dancing Infected.
But—actually, I went out today and found a lot of candy, but I...I gave them to the her, my little cutie.
I don't think she remembers who I am. So many memories came to mind...
"Maddie, I bought you a cone, vanilla flavor! So sweet!”
"Oh, Maddie!
You're always roughhousing with me!"
"Maddie, my mom's going to church today. She made a feast, let’s eat together!"
"Maddie..."
The little cutie was my neighbor, who was in fifth grade. She loved to cry, loved to eat candy and ice cream, and more than anything enjoyed rough-and-tumble play.
After the outbreak, I lost contact with her. I didn't expect I would see her again in this way. She had already become the Infected, hiding behind a tree and gazing at me. Her eyes were still big, but her skin was completely changed.
Becca and Sarge told me that when you encounter Infected you have two options: run or kill.
I... I didn't see any Infected. I put the candy in my pocket on the ground, told Frank to leave the head of that disgusting Infected, and then went back to the Settlement.
This Halloween, will little cutie still like my candy?

ANNOUNCEMENTS12/14/2020
The real fight begins.

The real fight begins.
The workers were soaked in sweat, struggling to unload box after box. You could call this a stable job——at least for those who live in slums. With 20 boxes unloaded, they’d have enough to buy bread and alcohol.
Compared with these workers, Rogers should have been content with what she earned. Bare-knuckle boxing brought her danger, but also opportunity.
After boxing, she headed home, walking down the old street.
That day, however, something happened. She stopped and looked through an open window as she heard a loud crash from the rundown house next to her.
"Family is family, just leave them alone."
"Come on, let’s go home. Don’t bother him, he’s a demon."
Rogers kept standing, watching, ignoring the words. People passing by shook their heads and hurriedly fled.
The drunk man held a broken liquor bottle, hitting the woman's head against the wall. Blood mixed with woman's anguished cry.
"Please, stop."
"Shut up, bitch."
Rogers’s vision reddened with rage. She stared at this man, and a multitude of similar scenes invaded her brain...
The drunk man continued to beat the woman, harder and harder, mercilessly.
When Rogers was a child, she had hidden helplessly in the corner, shivering and stifling her whimpers, not daring to make a noise that might provoke more pain.
But she learned that even silence is useless. After the man gave the woman a final ferocious kick, he pulled the child up by her collar and screamed: "Is she my child?"
The woman was speechless with despair and could only nod her bloodied head frantically, angering the man even more.
……
A loud noise dragged Rogers back to reality. She saw the woman fall heavily to the ground, the light slowly fading from her eyes. The memory of the past coincided with the picture of the present. A heat flowed through her body and made Rogers tremble. She clenched her teeth and balled her fists, trying to restrain her anger.
"Stop, you'll kill her." Rogers’s voice was trembling, and it took all her strength to speak clearly.
The woman raised her head with difficulty, looked out of the window at Rogers and whispered, "Please...save my child... "
In the corner of the room there lay a small baby. The child was swaddled and peaceful.
"That bastard! Not mine!” The drunk man burped and staggered to the baby. The woman tugged at his leg with all her strength, he simply hit the woman's head with a stool.
"Stop!" Rogers yelled.
The drunk man gave the woman a half-hearted kick, then looked at Rogers provocatively: "It's none of your business."
The memory of her father sneering at her in much the same way crashed into Rogers. “What can you do?” he’d asked, “you're just a kid.”
——But now she's grown up.
Before the drunk man touched the baby, Rogers jumped in through the window, grabbed him by the collar, and hit him in the face.
With a cry of pain, the drunk man was momentarily airborne, falling loudly on the ground, fainting.
"Thank you..." The woman’s face was full of blood, but her expression softened. "Could you take her away?"
Rogers picked the child up.
The child was lovely, she suddenly opened her eyes, murmured, and struggled to bite.
Rogers held the baby in her arms and then looked back at the woman.
"She's fine."
The woman abruptly let out a last breath, relaxed, and closed her eyes.
Rogers walked out of the broken house and looked at the swaying figures in the street.
The drunk man behind her stumbled to a standing position and opened his now vacant eyes, his desire for blood and fresh meat was clear.
Rogers spun around, launching her fists in a flurry of blows.
The real fight begins.

ANNOUNCEMENTS12/14/2020
Instructions for the Hero Gear System Optimization

Instructions for the Hero Gear System Optimization

Greetings Chief, in update v1.9.50, we have fully optimized the Hero Gear System. After updating the game version to v1.9.50 or higher, players will have access to these optimizations.

We aim to improve players' game experience without any adverse effects. That is to say:

1) Not reduce the attributes of existing gear

2) Not increase the resources needed for Hero gear

3) Not increase the overall cost for full-level Hero gear

The specific optimization instructions are as follows:

1. Removed Gear Crafting

"In the original mechanism, players had to craft particular gear for each Hero separately after completing the gear research, which was very inconvenient.
Therefore, the game team removed the Gear Crafting process. Now, all the Heroes suitable for the gear will equip the gear automatically when the research is done."

After updating the game to version 1.9.50 for the first time, players will receive materials consumed in the previous Hero Gear Crafting.

2. Removed the Requirement for the Gear Set

In the original mechanism, each set of gear had some attributes, which could be obtained by equipping multiple pieces at the same time. Now, we have removed the requirement for the gear set and have instead assigned the attributes directly to each piece of gear. Players can directly obtain some of the original set attributes without collecting the previously required number of set pieces.

3. Changed Materials for Different Gear Type to One Common Material

In the original mechanism, there were 3 types of gear materials for three types of Heroes (Infantry, Rider and Hunter). This was confusing to many players, and some even choose the wrong materials to upgrade their gear. Now, gear for the three types of Heroes will all use a common material for equipment enhancement. Players remaining old materials will be converted into the common material at a proportion of 1:1.

4. Improved the Display of Gear Quality

The original gear grading method (blue→purple→orange, continuously looping) caused confusion for many players. Therefore, we adjusted the gear grading system: each set of gear corresponds to a fixed quality color which will not change. When a piece of gear is strengthened, the star level of the gear will be increased. When a piece of gear reaches its full star level, it will then be promoted to the next quality color. Of course, this only optimizes the color for gear and DOES NOT change the original attributes of the gear in any way.

5. Split the Gear Grade

In the original mechanism, when players increased the gear to a certain grade, the consumption required for the further upgrading of Hero gear increased significantly, thus players had to accumulate huge amounts of material to improve gear attributes. In response to this situation, under the premise that the total consumption for a piece of gear remains unchanged, we have split the big gear grades into minor subgrades (Star Levels) to ensure that players can enhance their gear more smoothly and thereby gain attributes bit by bit.

6. Optimized Gear Display Interface

In order to match the simplified Hero gear rules and make the interface easier to understand and operate, we have also optimized the Hero gear related interface.

Please upgrade your game version to v1.9.50 or higher to experience these optimizations. We sincerely hope you enjoy the new Hero gear system!

Becca's Roadmap Issue 36

✅ Resolved: Tycoon dice display issue.

🚧 Under Development: Item recycling feature and reputation reward adjustments.

⏳ Coming Soon: Doomsday Open reward reminder, Nature's Breath compatibility patch, and full-screen sticker improvement.

ℹ️ Mechanic Explanation: Previous Tempest Arms development guide.

We will keep paying attention to your gaming experience. Thanks for your support to State of Survival!

Chiefs,

Thank you for your continued feedback! Here are our detailed responses to your questions:

Issue 1: In the Doomsday Journey adventure, it's not clearly stated that Level 600 is the final stage, which has led players to buy extra items.

Response:

While the level reward pool formula does indicate that Level 600 is the final floor, we'll make such information clearer in the future.

Issue 2: We don't like the current pet development system. It's too costly, the materials are hard to acquire, and the whole design feels overly complicated.

Response:

We will improve the pet system to make it more user-friendly. Stay tuned!

Issue 3: We really enjoy Pet Adventure and its rewards.

Response:

We're happy to hear that! We're planning to improve Pet Adventure and bring it back.

Issue 4: Full-screen stickers can be distracting for players.

Response:

Full-screen stickers only appear in the chat box and don't cover the rest of the screen, but we'll keep improving this feature based on your feedback.

Issue 5: The Governor doesn't get enough Prison Shackles for a two-week period, and their duration feels too short.

Response:

We don't have plans to improve this at the moment, but we'll keep collecting feedback and monitoring game balance.

Issue 6: Please reconsider the use of scrolling text for notifications. It shows up too often in Tempest Arms.

Response:

We'll add an option to allow players to block Ultra-Rare skill notifications from players in other States, so you can enjoy smoother experience.

As for the bugs mentioned in other feedback, they've either been fixed or are in the process of being fixed. Thanks for your feedback. We'll continue working to improve the experience.

GUIDE03/21/2025
Developer Feedback Episode 44: Fountain of Dreams Reward Update 🎁, Pet Reset Confirmation Button 🐾, and Adventure Event Optimiza

Chiefs,

Thank you for your continued feedback! Here are our detailed responses to your questions:

Issue 1: All statues in the Fountain of Dreams have reached max level. Would you consider adding a recycling feature or allowing them to be exchanged for rewards?

Response:

The prize pool rewards will be updated when the event returns.

As for statue recycling and further upgrades, we're still evaluating these features, but there are no concrete plans at the moment.

Issue 2: Please add a confirmation button for resetting pets to prevent accidental resets!

Response:

A confirmation button for pet resets will be added in an upcoming update!

Issue 3: The newly launched Pet Adventure event lacks a clear explanation about pets disappearing after completing a certain number of patrol missions. Many players don't fully understand this mechanic and have lost pets they didn't intend to.

Response:

We apologize for the unclear event description and will make the following adjustments:

① A prominent explanation of the pet disappearance mechanic will be added to the event rules screen.

② Lower-quality pets will be displayed first by default on the pet selection screen.

③ Assigning pets with 100% Wildness will now trigger a red warning pop-up.

Details will be shared in an upcoming announcement.

Issue 4: The recent adjustment to the point-earning rules in Pinball Madness has significantly reduced the points players can earn.

Response:

We apologize for the change and have reverted to the original points system.

Issue 5: There are several event stores now, but some stay open for an extra day after the event ends (e.g., Fishing Challenge), while others close immediately.

Response:

We're standardizing the closing rules for all event stores!

Issue 6: The recent addition of Game Mode Voting in Survival Royale has caused dissatisfaction among players. We preferred the original "weekly switch mode".

Response:

The new voting system allows players to choose their preferred mode, whether it's the weekly switch or sticking with the same mode.

If the same mode is selected for three weeks in a row, the game will automatically switch to the other mode on the fourth week.

After that, players will be able to select again.

Issue 7: Even when the rallies in Frenzy Officer are full, we still have to wait for 5 minutes to set off.

Response:

We have optimized it by adding a one-minute fast set-off option (the rally initiator will need to manually activate it).

We will continue to improve your gaming experience. Thank you for your support to State of Survival!

📖Hero Story📖 Gen 20 Hero: Erwin Sprock

The  Beast in Search of Happiness

"No  one has ever loved Erwin Sprock, not even one person."

His  parents have never loved him—not once did they hold his tiny, wrinkled hands,  pat his stooped shoulders, cradle the skinny little boy he was, or call him  'babe'.

Nor  did the caregivers at the orphanage. They never personally handed him a plate  of gruel, dried his mattress soaked by others, or introduced him to any  families longing for affection.

And  Erwin believed it was all because of his dwarfism. Perhaps his appearance  simply didn't deserve love.

But  everyone adored Boomtail, the shining star of the children's fun park!

With  a cheap, heavy animal costume, exaggerated movements, and infectious  laughter, Erwin was loved as Boomtail. Kids clamored to hold his hand, play  games, and be his friend! They ran joyfully beside him, while adults slipped  candies into his pockets. Boomtail was a favorite among all! For the first  time, Erwin felt loved and happy!

The  days of indifference, insults, and loneliness were gone! As Boomtail, Erwin  discovered joy! Each night in his dreams, he looked forward to a new day,  knowing that the moment the fun park opened, children would rush to him,  laughing and screaming, ready to give him a big hug.

But  one day, Erwin didn't get the love he was waiting for as Boomtail.

Everything  changed that day. Love and laughter vanished, replaced by horror, pain,  nightmares, and the loneliness he dreaded the most. Ugly, stooped zombies  tore apart the life he had built. Suddenly, poor Erwin was left with nothing  but himself once again.

But  Erwin would never give in.

Boomtail  would become the bringer of happiness and restore joy to Erwin's life.

His  loyal forest friend is now a fierce zombie killer. He will wipe out the  zombies, bring laughter back to the world, make the crying kids smile again,  and reignite the celebration at the forest fun park.

Ultimately,  he will return all the love to Erwin, the child who feared loneliness.

📖Hero  Story📖 Gen 20 Hero: Xiaowen

Boundary  Challenger

Xiaowen  is an energetic and adventurous Asian girl who constantly plays with danger,  as if she's powered by infinite energy.

Growing  up in a strict Asian family, her childhood was governed by rules, even down  to how she ate. These constraints stifled her restless spirit, and she  yearned for a way to break free.

Everything  changed when she watched a skateboard competition.

She  was captivated by the thrill and freedom the athletes displayed as they sped  up steep slopes and navigated challenges with ease.

In  that moment, Xiaowen realized she had fallen in love with skateboarding. It  was her outlet for self-expression and liberation.

As  she pushed herself to master increasingly difficult tricks, her skills  improved significantly. The typical street skateboarding challenges soon lost  their appeal, so she began to seek out more dangerous stunts for the  adrenaline rush. The more perilous the environment, the more exhilarated she  felt.

Mountain  slope skateboarding, a highly challenging feat, caught Xiaowen's eye. Skating  at high speed down rugged mountain paths, with every turn a brush with death,  was the ultimate rush for Xiaowen. One wrong move, and you'd be off the  cliff, but that danger only drew her in.

Once,  a minor mistake sent her tumbling down the slope, leaving her severely  injured. It was a terrifying scene, and everyone around her panicked. But  Xiaowen remained unfazed and wiped the blood from her face. Adrenaline  surging, she got back on her board and completed the run, leaving a bloody  trail behind her.

Perhaps  she was just born this way!

Born  to find pleasure on the edge of danger!

And  to break her limits again and again!

This  is how Xiaowen wants to leave her mark in this world!

After  the zombie virus outbreak, she discovered a new kind of extreme sport:  weaving through hordes of zombies on her modified skateboard. The infected is  no match for her speed and agility. Skating past them unscathed, she feels a  rush of satisfaction from outpacing death itself.

Over  time, Xiaowen earned the nickname "Daredevil" among survivors. Her  bravery left many in awe, though they also worried about her recklessness.  People often warn her to be more careful, but Xiaowen, true to her nature,  pays no mind to their concerns. To them, she is a wild spirit, always chasing  the next thrill.

📖Hero  Story📖 Gen 20 Hero: Stacy

The  One and Only Queen

Stacy  can be best described as fashionable, powerful, and beautiful.

Before  the apocalypse, she was a world-renowned professional wrestler known for her  attitude and coolness. After winning the state women's freestyle wrestling  championship with her gorgeous skills and fierce attack style, she quickly  made a splash in the fashion and beauty industries, starting a global craze.

People  adored Stacy, but there were also those filled with jealousy and doubt, some  even resorting to slander. Yet, she simply tossed her hair and responded with  another triumph.

However,  many didn't know that this champion athlete and fashion icon was once a  skinny little girl living in a slum. With fierce ambition in her eyes, she  vowed to escape her circumstances and reach the pinnacle of success. She  started as a nobody, but she believed she could become someone extraordinary.

Tough  yet determined, she entered the wrestling ring and embraced a world where  only the strong could survive.

At  first, she wasn't the strongest, fastest or smartest among wrestlers, but she  was undoubtedly the toughest. Stacy trained relentlessly, pushing herself to  lift unbearable weights. Though she earned little, she spent all her money on  protein supplements, forcing herself to gulp them down before diving back  into training to forget the pain of competition. Within a year, she was  defeating male wrestlers of the same weight with ease.

Step  by step, she climbed higher, distancing herself from her past, and eventually  became the queen of wrestling.

After  the apocalypse, no matter how glorious her past was, it seemed irrelevant.  But Stacy wasn't disheartened by the world's collapse. Her past constantly  reminded her that she could always start anew. All she needed to do was stand  up and prepare for the next challenge.

Now,  she's filled with passion and ready to conquer a new world.

GUIDE10/11/2024
Becca's Roadmap | Issue 27: Rally Time, Event Time, Event Rewards, Anniversary Celebration, and Many More Developer Notes

Chiefs,

Welcome back to Becca's Roadmap. In this issue, we will discuss some top issues from the Anniversary event and share some upcoming optimizations.

Thank you for your constant feedback, it is the driving force for our continuous improvement.

<h>Suggestions for optimization that will be taken:</h>

<b><u>This Week's Top 1 Hot Topic: The Meaning of Event Dates</u></b>

Becca's Take: To avoid ambiguity in event date descriptions, we will standardize the time descriptions for all events after version 1.22.50.

<b><u>This Week's Top 2 Hot Topic: Boss Refresh and Rally Time</u></b>

Becca and the team members have looked into the relevant data. We plan to optimize the rally time for Infected Fiend and Dreadbeast, as well as their refresh time, so new ones can be automatically generated when none of them can be found in searches.

This optimization is expected to launch after October.

<b><u>This Week's Top 3 Hot Topic: King of the Hill Event Optimization</u></b>

Becca also feels a bit helpless. Regarding the bug in King of the Hill, we suggest players submit customer service tickets for the development team to optimize collectively. For individual issues, it's difficult for Becca to provide solutions.

The optimized Nexus Struggle gameplay is currently being designed and will be introduced to players in the new season.

BTW, similar feedback seems to have been seen in Mining Mayhem, Alliance Duel, and Nexus Struggle? LOL.

<h>Suggestions that are under consideration:</h>

<b><u>This Week's Top 4 Hot Topic: Pearl Store Item Update</u></b>

Becca's Take: We have updated a batch of items in Pearl Store of the Anniversary event, and will continue to update it.

As for the Guardians... To be honest, as they are an honor symbol for each major event, we don't plan to put them in the Pearl Store in the short term.

<b><u>This Week's Top 5 Hot Topic: Glory Supply Collection Too Slow After State Warfare Ends</u></b>

We will not change the mechanism of randomly refreshing resources on the map for now, but we might consider increasing the March Speed.

<b><u>This Week's Top 6 Hot Topic: State Matchmaking Issues with Old Event Rewards</u></b>

Becca's Take: In June, we have implemented regional matching and optimization for rewards from events such as the Reservoir Store, and we are considering implementing similar adjustments for more gameplays.

Becca feels sorry about this. Previously, when we received your feedback about the rewards in Fortress Fight and the Horde being outdated, we considered removing these events entirely. However, since these are long-standing events, directly modifying them would require significant changes to the underlying code, which could impact the overall operation of the game.

However, after consulting everyone for your genuine thoughts, we decided to retain these classic events.

<h>Suggestion Not Considered: Becca has tried but...</h>

<b><u>This Week's Top 7 Hot Topic: Anniversary Mini Event Rewards and Other Related Issues</u></b>

Becca's Take: The red dots serve as reminders for free rewards, so you don't miss out. The more free rewards available, the more red dots you'll see.

Given the current number of available free rewards, we won’t be adding any more at this time.

<b><u>This Week's Top 8 Hot Topic: Material Shortage and Stamina Cost Issues</u></b>

Currently, we have no plans to optimize the high Stamina cost or address the reward mismatch in the Material Shortage event.

Becca's Take: There are no plans to optimize all Stamina-related issues at this time, but Chiefs can use Biocaps to exchange for Stamina.

<b><u>This Week's Top 9 Hot Topic: Why don't we have more materials for Gen 2 Vehicles?</u></b>

Becca's Take: Gen 2 Vehicles are the latest generation of vehicles, meaning there will be fewer opportunities to obtain free materials compared to the older Vehicles and Behemoths.

<b><u>This Week's Top 10 Hot Topic: Opportunities to Participate in Mini Games Such as Feeding Frenzy, Jungle Gems, and Lucky Cards</u></b>

Becca feels sorry about it.

Since there are already daily free attempts available for these events, we will not be implementing a Biocap-ticket exchange mechanism at this time. However, you can still use Biocaps in other events.

<b><u>This Week's Top 11 Hot Topic: Scratch Cards and Anniversary Event Points</u></b>

Scratch Cards can be acquired through a variety of game interactions and are not solely dependent on purchases.

We will continue to monitor feedback on the event to ensure the reward system remains reasonable.

Thank you for your feedback and patience. We are committed to enhancing your gaming experience and look forward to seeing your progress in the game!

Stay tuned for the next Becca's Roadmap for more updates and information! Enjoy!

Scout Report: Taking a Close Look at State Event: Chaos Clash

Chiefs,

Our new State Event season—Chaos Clash—has been officially launched! In this season, we have made improvements based on player feedback from the previous season and identified pain points from actual experience.

In today’s Scout Report, Sarge will walk us through the specific adjustments made in this State Event season.

<b><u>Clues for New Season Story</u></b>

:pushpin: In the story of the Chaos Clash season, a mysterious woman appears in various Settlements, attracting the attention of refugees. However, after she leaves, fights always break out among the refugees. Sarge discovers that the mysterious woman might be his wife, Agatha. As the story unfolds, Agatha will reveal a shocking secret to Sarge and the players. We will also gradually unlock more follow-up information about the story in our Community, so stay tuned for more!

<b><u>State Event Optimizations</u></b>

1. The number of tasks in Azurtane Heist has been adjusted from 3 to 1, which means the number of State Event Task Passes required has been reduced from 3 to 1.

2. The number of State Event Task Passes required to quickly complete the King of the Hill task has been reduced from 3 to 2.

3. Added Feeding Frenzy tasks to consume Stamina in the State Event;

<b><u>Leaderboard Optimizations</u></b>

The Featured Leaderboard is now the Merit Rankings, with previous Rewards merged into the Alliance Leaderboard. Rankings in the Alliance are based on Merits earned in Alliance Duel.

*Please note that the quality of Rewards available to the Alliance as a whole is affected by the Alliance's ranking in State Events.

<b><u>Operation Resurgence and Troop Drill Optimizations</u></b>

1. Operation Resurgence

:pushpin: Operation Resurgence has been divided into three time-limited stages. Tasks need to be completed within the given time. Rankings are determined by total Points earned at the end of each stage.

*Please note that at the end of each stage, a State buff will be awarded to the corresponding State based on the total score of the three stages, up until the end of the season.

2. Troop Drill

By obtaining Epic Crates from the Season Pass of Alert! Steelclad Hybrid Warfare, players can unlock the Fast Drill feature, which allows you to assign all Troop Drills in a single tap of the screen.

<b><u>New Seasonal Badges</u></b>

:pushpin: Added new Badges for the season. Players who complete the corresponding achievements can obtain season training materials as well as Astro Coins.

*Please note that as the season progresses, players will have the opportunity to earn more Astro Coins based on the number of their own achievements completed.

:pushpin: New Astro Coin Store: Players can obtain Skins from previous seasons, rare items, and island decorations.

Above are the main optimizations for this Chaos Clash season. We also hope this article can help our Chiefs to better formulate season strategies and achieve higher rankings!

Hero Appointment:Guidance from player

◆Introduction:

Progressing in State of Survival will automatically bring more troops to your settlement. Becca and Sarge are already too busy, so we need to build an effective management team to deal with the increasing numbers. The settlement has set up several roles for capable heroes to serve, which will promote growth. A brand new “Hero Assignment” feature is now available. Heroes can be assigned to different “slots”, allowing them to perform their respective duties and provide additional bonuses to your troops. The time has come to show your talent, assign your heroes to the best places!

◆How to access the Feature?

By going inside your settlement and clicking on your Headquarter (HQ).

◆Hero Appointment Interface:

◆Three Categories in the Hero Appointment:

1Armchair Strategist

2Flag Bearer

3Vanguard

◆Now is the time to show your mastery of management by appointing Heroes to the right Position:

There are currently three Positions in the “Hero Service Center”: Armchair Strategist, Flag Bearer, and Vanguard. Three types of “Slots” are subdivided under each Position: Infantry, Rider, and Hunter. Each slot can be held by the corresponding hero of the three troop types. If all three Slots are corresponding to a position: have a hero serving in them, there will be an additional position buff. Assigning heroes to the corresponding Slots can provide additional bonuses to all troops.

Note: The level of stat bonus is only related to the hero's “military rank”. The rarity of the hero does not affect the stat bonus. Assign a max-level hero to the corresponding Slot to get immediate stat bonuses!

◆“Global Bonuses”

1“Slot Bonuses”:

“Slot Bonuses” will be determined by both the “Hero Rank” and the “Enhancement Level”, they Include:

•“Infantry Attack / Defense”

GUIDE12/14/2020
Basic Troop Matching Rules

As we all know, there are three types of troop units in the game, namely infantry, rider and hunter.
Infantry has very high HP and Defense stats, but very low Attack;
Riders’ HP and Defense are not as high as Infantry, but their Attack is higher;
As for the hunters, they are the most vulnerable units, but have the best Attack stats among all the troop units.

When the PVP battle begins, all the troops on both sides will enter formation in the following order: Infantry – Rider – Hunter, where the Infantry is put in the front line and the Hunter is in the back row.
In the battle calculation phase, all the damage dealt by the enemy will be taken by the Infantry first, then the Rider and lastly the Hunter.
In other words, when all your Infantry units die, your Riders will take the damage; when there are only Hunter units left, the Hunters have to take the damage.

Therefore, it’s very risky to have only one troop type in your army, since the Infantry can’t deal enough damage to the enemy while the Riders or Hunters are too vulnerable without the front-line Infantry units.

It’s recommended to have a mix of troops in your army. 1:1:1 of of each troop type is a safe combination.

We hope you found this guide useful!
If you like it, remember to share it to your allies and let them know the rules of troop matching!

Have a nice day!

Developer Feedback Episode 36: FAQ about Jungle Gems, Pearl Shop, and Effortless Event

Chiefs,

Maddie has  shown up during this eerie yet joyful Halloween time, bringing mysterious  greetings from the developer team! 🎃

🍬To  make your gaming experience sweeter than ever, we will strive to do better!

FAQ

This Week's  Top 1 Hot Topic: Jungle Gems Assigning Time and Reward Distribution Frequency

Jungle Gems:  After changing the assigning time to 6 hours, rewards are sent every 2 hours,  equivalent to losing a full 50% of the rewards. Why make this change?

Answer: We  apologize that there was a bug after the new version of Jungle Gems went  live, causing rewards to be sent every 2 hours.

The bug had  been fixed two hours after the event went live.

Now the AFK  rewards for Jungle Gems are sent every 1 hour, and 6 rewards can be collected  in 6 hours. At the same time, the number of rewards has also increased.

This Week's  Top 2 Hot Topic: Pearl Shop Item Changes

Pearl Shop:  Items that were removed or reduced in quantity from the "Growth"  section of the Pearl Shop during the anniversary event have not yet been  restored. This includes materials related to Plasma, Behemoths, and  Aircrafts.

Answer: The  items in the “Growth” section of the Pearl Shop have not changed compared to  before the anniversary event.

You can find  specific shop screenshots in the game's community section under the Guides  tab by searching for all Pearl Shop screenshots from August to October, or  refer to our creators' videos about each Pearl Shop update.

The materials  related to Plasma, Behemoths, and Aircrafts pointed out by the Chief should  be from the exchange shop of the previous "Operation Festival," not  the regular Pearl Shop.

Regular Pearl  Shop will not feature the above items. The items mentioned by the Chief will  all return during the next "Operation Festival" event.

Resolved

This Week's  Top 3 Hot Topic: Badge Task Separation Issue

Effortless  Event: The Badge improvement and upgrade tasks have been separated. This led  players to mistakenly believe that choosing any Badge task would provide  discounts for both related items, causing inconvenience.

Answer: We  apologize, the Badge improvement and upgrade tasks have been merged into a  single task.

This Week's  Top 4 Hot Topic: HQ Visual Effect Issue

HQ Visual  Effect on Map: Scorpio statue displays Virgo effect?

Answer: This  issue has been fixed in version 1.22.60.

This Week's  Top 5 Hot Topic: Attack Issues in Doomsday Express

Doomsday  Express: Trucks can be attacked by players in the same State, causing discord  within the State.

Answer: This  issue has been optimized in version 1.22.60, with the addition of a  "Filter trucks from the same State" option.

This Week's  Top 6 Hot Topic: Becca's Dialogue during the attack

Becca's  Dialogue: During the attack, when the player returns to the HQ, they  encounter Becca's dialogue. This really affects the pace of the attack.

Answer: This  issue has been optimized in version 1.22.10. You will encounter Becca at most  once a month.

This Week's  Top 7 Hot Topic: Pet Release Feature

Pet Release:  Releasing them one by one is really annoying!

Answer: We  hear you loud and clear! We have arranged to develop the "Quick  Release" feature. Please pay attention to future announcements.

Not  considering for now

This Week's  Top 8 Hot Topic: Plasma-Related Task Points

Plasma-Related  Task Points: The Plasma point tasks for State Warfare Preparation and  Survival of the Fittest do not include the use of Verdant Plasma. Should this  be considered for addition?

Answer: We're  not considering that at the moment. Fusing Polymerized Plasma already  provides points, so consuming Polymerized Plasma would essentially mean  double points. That's a bit too much!

That concludes  all the content for this episode of Developer Feedback.

GUIDE12/04/2023
Hero Ada Wong From Resident Evil

It was an ordinary evening at the Settlement, and the campfire was burning strong. The familiar sound of people sitting together chatting could be heard while the chef was preparing dinner.

Maddie and Frank were playing together just like they always did, and nothing unusual occurred.

What everybody didn’t know, however, was that during the morning, when Sarge and Maddie were chasing down intel on Zone Matriarch, they had suddenly been separated. Maddie and Frank were being pursued by a giant Zone Matriarch and were running out of ammo.

During this desperate moment, a mysterious women called Ada came to the rescue, after which she silently went on her way.

They had no idea who she way, but it was undeniable that she was fierce in combat and could wield a range of different weapons. She handled chaotic situations by remaining calm, and this made her as a top fighter.

“Especially that grapnel launcher!” Maddie thought to herself.

Maddie patted Frank’s head, and quietly said to him, “She was out of this world, wasn’t she.”

Maddie then recollected the skills Ada deployed:

Skill 1 (active): Grappling Combo

Ada fires her grapnel launcher to pull herself to the target location, then sidekicks nearby enemies, dealing fixed damage and stunning them for momentarily.

Skill 2 (passive): Quick Shot

After a fixed cooldown, Ada rapidly fires her pistol many times.

Skill 3 (passive): Relentless Volley

After a fixed cooldown, Ada inspires all allies, increasing their Attack.

(Note: Please view Ada’s exact skill data, names, and effects in-game.)

It was quite obvious that Ada was a hard core fighter, who fights well with Hunters. She’s a Resonate Hero not to be missed, and has become a powerful force to be reckoned with.

GUIDE12/08/2023
Hero Leon Scott Kennedy From Resident Evil

It was just any old day in the post-apocalyptic world, when the main gate to the Settlement suddenly got bashed down. Sarge dashed out there, ready to defend, but just at that moment, he noticed a silhouette among the incoming Infected fighting solo, sending dozens of Infected flying through the air with staunch punches. Without any time to think about it, Sarge joined the stranger in the fight and together they put an end to the incoming wave of Infected.

The stranger told Sarge his name was Leon, and that he was just passing by the Settlement.

Sarge was blown away by the guy’s fighting, particularly the impressive array of skills he was deploying. Sarge closed his eyes and imagined those battle scenes again in his mind. The skills he was using were:

Skill 1 (active): W-870 Shotgun

Turns Leon's base attack into a powerful shotgun blast for a fixed amount of time, dealing a fixed amount of AoE damage.

Skill 2 (passive): Rapid Fire

After a fixed cooldown, Leon fires his shotgun, dealing a fixed amount of AoE damage, knocking back and stunning the targets.

Skill 3 (passive): Mayhem Mode

Leon's battle spirit surges after a fixed cooldown, increasing Attack Speed.

(Note: Please view Leon’s exact skill data, names, and effects in-game.)

Despite knowing nothing about Leon’s past, Sarge and his buddies at the Settlement thought that Leon was, without a shadow of a doubt, a solid partner in combat. He was outstanding as a Rider, and for the settlement was a powerful fighter they couldn’t do without.

GUIDE12/14/2020
Basic Troop Attribute Guide

Basic Troop Attribute Guide
There are four basic attributes for the troops, namely Attack, Lethality, Defense, and Health.
Attack and Lethality determine how much damage your troops are able to deal to your enemy.

Defense is the ability of your troops to reduce the damage they receive, while Health refers to the amount of damage that can be taken.
Both Defense and Health determine how long your troops will stand as your enemy keeps dealing damage.

Basically, it is necessary to improve the 4 attributes of all your troops.
But when it comes to specific troop types, here are some tips for you.

Since the infantry troops mainly play the role of tank in the front line of combat, it’s suggested to improve the Health and Defense of your infantry troops first.
As for the Rider and Hunter troops, they are the main damage output for your troops and very vulnerable.
They are usually put in the back row when a battle starts. So, Attack and Lethality attributes should take priority when it comes to the back-row troops.

GUIDE12/14/2020
The Attacking and Defending Side in Battle

The Attacking and Defending Side in Battle (Part 1)
In a PVP battle, there are usually two sides: the attacking side and the defending side.
But we define the attacking and defending sides differently in the following situations:
If the battle happens in a player’s settlement, the player who launches the attack are the attacking side while the player being attacked is the defending side;
If the battle happens at a resource spot, both sides in the battle are counted as the defending side;
If the battle happens in an alliance building such as the Alliance Headquarters, the alliance members are always on the defending side, even if they are launching the attack against the player who is invading, (the invading player is always on the attacking side);
If the battle happens in the main building or towers of the Capital, both sides in the battle are counted as the attacking side;

The Attacking and Defending Side in Battle (Part 2)
During the battle, there are 3 statuses for wounded troops: lightly wounded, wounded, or lost.
The lightly wounded troops will recover as soon as your troops return to your settlement.
The wounded troops need to be healed in the Hospital when the battle ends. It costs resources or Biocaps to heal the wounded troops in the Hospital.
The lost troops were killed in the battle.
For the attacking side, the lost troops can't be sent to the Hospital.
For the defending side, lost troops can be enlisted via the Enlistment Office.
If the Enlistment Office is full, the rest of the lost troops will be killed.
For the defending side, lost troops will be converted to wounded first.
Once your Hospitals are full, the remaining lost troops will enter the Enlistment Office and then around 70% of the lost troops can be enlisted.
If the Enlistment Office is also full, the rest of the lost troops will be killed and you will need to train new troops.
For the attacking side, your lost troops can be converted to wounded troops at a certain ratio.
Normally, the attacker will have more lost troops than the wounded troops and will not be able to enlist the killed troops via the Enlistment Office.

Increasing March Capacity

Increasing March Capacity
Author: Oreo
We've all been there, the moment you realize you have too many troops and they can't all fit in a march. This can be frustrating; rest assured, in this guide, we will cover how to increase your “March Capacity” and “Rally Capacity!”
First of all, everything is tied to your HQ, without upgrading it nothing else is possible. Your HQ determines your March Capacity and growth of your Settlement. Your HQ level also regulates the growth of your Command Station, and the Command Station directly influences your Rally Capacity.
To maximize both, constant effort needs to be applied to regularly upgrade these buildings. The following things will also help to increase these numbers:
-March Capacity
1. Research – Plays a major role in March Capacity with a total addition of roughly 32,000. To get the full potential from research, you need to research March Capacity I–VI.
2. Chief/War – To get the full potential here, you need to put points into March Capacity I–III, for a total of 5.6K. In addition, the massive march talent skill will increase march capacity by an additional 10%. However, this talent does have a 12-hour cooldown, so use it wisely!
3. Heroes – In addition to the chief talents, you can level up your various heroes to boost your march capacity further.
4. The last options are the "March Capacity" and "Mega March Capacity" boosts. This limited-time boost will last for 2-12 hours depending on the boost used. This will increase your march capacity from 6-12%.
– However, if you don’t have one in your backpack, this will cost 13,000 Biocaps for the "Mega March Capacity Boost 8 hours."
– Rally Capacity
The only way to directly increase your rally capacity is to upgrade your Command Station.
That’s all there is to March capacity, I hope this guide has helped you!
